Product properties:white or faint yellow crystal powder, with melting point 141-146, dissolves in acetone, methanol, ethanol and other organic solvents. Its solubility in water (g/L) is 2.4×10-2(pH=7.0), 0.3(pH=5.0).
Stability: It is of the thermal stability under usual storage condition, unstable to light and unstable under conditions of strong acid and alkali.

Toxicological appraisal:The product is classified as medium toxic, its preparation as slight toxic or low toxic. Its is acutely toxic during big rat taking 92. 6mg/kg orally (LD50)and 2150mg/kg on skin(LD50). Results of Ames test for causing mutation, micronucleus test, and little mouse sperm malformation test all are negative. The original chemical is non-irritating for rabbit skin, but slightly irritating rabbit eyes.
Used for crops: The chemical is used for cabbage, Chinese cabbage, turnip, and other vegetables;soybean, cotton, tea, tobacco and other crops;and fruit trees.
For preventing and eliminating:
The 4"-epi-methylamino-4"deoxyavermectin B1 benzoate has the highest activity to Lepidoptera insect larvae, such as cabbage catterpillar, soybean noctuid, cotton bollworm, tobacco noctuid, cabbage noctuid, prodenia litura, mythimna separate, apple skin worm, and has special effect on beet army worm and diamondback moth. At the same time, it also has higher activity to pests of Homoptera, thysanopteron, Coleoptera and Acarina.
Action characteristics:
The 4"-epi-methylamino-4"deoxyavermectin B1 benzoate is a decorative product of agricultural antibiotic avermectin B1 structure. Its action mode is, mainly stomach poisoning action and action of contact insecticide to some extent. It has no function of ovicide. Its action mechanism is to intensify the effect of neurotransmitter, such as glutamate and γ-amino butyric acid. Thus a lot of chlorine ions enter nerve cell, make the latter lose function and disturb neurotransmission. The larva after contacting the chemical quickly stops to eat and suffers from irreversible paralysis. The chemical can permeate into the surface layer of crop and form a layer for storing effect ingredients for a long time. The chemical, due to its little amount of usage and being easy to degrade, does not pollute environment and has no residue. The research and test indicates that the 4"-epi-methylamino-4"deoxyavermectin B1 benzoate with very small dosage has good effect, has no harm to tardigvada beneficial insect in the process of preventing and eliminating pests and is highly safe to crops. Usage method:
Apply the chemical in hatching heyday and period of larva. Amount of used effective ingredients is 1.5-3.0 grams/hectare.
Rescue measures:
If some one orally takes it, immediately administer emetic drug, ipecac syrup or ephedrine to the patient. Dont administer emetic drug to stupor patient or pour in him anything . During rescue avoid administering babitone, propyl valeric acid and other drugs, to the patient, which can intensify activity of γ-amino butyric acid.
Points for attention:
(1)During application of the chemical, pay attention to labor protection, such as, wear breathing mask, put on gloves and wear isolation dress.
(2)The chemical is highly toxic to fish. Avoid polluting water source and pool etc.
(3)The chemical is toxic to bee. Don't apply it in blooming time.
